Also known as Windows 2k, Windows 2000 is an operating system first released by Microsoft in February 2000.. It was based on NT operating kernel and targeted toward business users.
Windows 2000 is by far one of the largest commercial projects ever built.
Windows 2000 included advanced features and had overall better support for computer hardware.
It was sometimes referred to as Windows NT 5.0 and contained over 29 million lines of code.The update to this new operating system is possible from Windows 95, 98 and Windows NT 3.51, 4.0.
